PS ‘Time to Come Clean’ Micellar Water Review

ps micellar water

I picked up this micellar water, as I went on a little shopping haul in Primark (shocker(!)). I have already fit this micellar water into my skincare routine. At first, I was like does this even do anything?? After about a few days using it, I started loving it. It also has Rose and vitamin E in it.

How I apply this

On the bottle, it says to apply with a cotton pad and gently wipe over the face to remove makeup and cleanse the skin. Last week, I mentioned on my Instagram story (you can find it under the Beauty highlight) that this micellar water is rubbish for taking makeup off. When I tried to remove my makeup with it, loads of makeup was still left on my skin, even after about 5 cotton pads. I gave up on it and tried a different approach. I use my regular cleansing wipes to take my makeup off and go about my normal skin care routine. The last thing I do before I go to bed, is I take a sponge/cotton pad and use this to apply the micellar water all over my face and neck. I do not wash it off and leave this on. It works wonders!

How this performs on my skin

I mentioned on Instagram that I’ve been having some issues with my skin, so I’m giving it a makeup cleanse. I haven’t worn any makeup for the past two weeks so I don’t know if that is contributing to how well this performs on my skin. The micellar water is so gentle and there are no harsh microbeads in it. It’s clearly not an exfoliate, and it’s perfect to use as the last thing in your skin care routine.

After I apply this, my skin feels so soft. It’s like it almost fills in my pores, and makes my skin a more smoother canvas. It doesn’t aid with any pimple scarring, getting rid of pimples and discolouration though. It just makes my skin feel more smooth, I can’t speak for anyone else.

  1. I use this all the time but I do find if I apply too much onto the cotton pad it can burn my skin or eyes a little if it comes into contact. But it is so effective with removing makeup and doesn’t make me break out at all! 💘

  2. I used to use a product that contained rose water as a toner which was great but it was pricier than this so I think I will definitely give this ago as its sooo much cheaper and seems like although its not great at make up removal it does seem like a lovely toner.

  3. This micellar water sounds awesome. But unfortunately we don’t have primark in the US so I won’t be able to try it….
