Narcos & The End of the F*cking World: Review | Caroo TV

Remember how I said I am going to share a review on one TV show I’ve been loving every month? Yep, I’m actually going to stick to that. And this month/ the past month I have been indulged in two amazing shows. Now since I haven’t posted any review in February, this is gonna be a kind of like two-in-one deal I’m giving you guys here.

I’m gonna keep these reviews simple and short seeing as I have two to share with you guys instead of one. If you have read my Black Mirror Season 4 Review, you’ll notice that I analyse that more in-depth than in this post.

If you have not watched this yet.. stop whatever you are doing and just go straight to Netflix and watch it RIGHT NOW.

It’s safe to say that I have been raving on about this particular show when anyone dares ask me ‘what good shows are there on Netflix?’. I am practically the show’s advertiser at this stage.

So, how would I describe this show to you….? It’s an indie show, and it gives off very ‘tumblr girl/ tumblr boy’ vibes. I know I’m pretty late with a review for this one but it just had to wait.

Basically, the series is about a wanna-be edgy and different girl called Alyssa and a clearly psychopathic serial killer boy that Alyssa has a pointless crush on called James. To cut it simple, James is only even interacting and spending time on Alyssa to find the perfect time to kill her. And that’s not a spoiler, because that is stated within the first few minutes of the first episode. Now if I go into the plot, I’m just going to ruin the whole thing, so maybe I’ll leave it at there.

I don’t even know how I got into this show. It’s one of those shows I avoided for a while but when I gave it a chance, it blew me away.

Narcos is about the story of the world’s most infamous drug-dealing businessman – Pablo Escobar. And the sad thing is that I never even knew who Pablo Escobar was until I watched this. I always wondered what that name meant.

Anyways, I don’t want to spoil it for you but I just love the plot. The suspense is so much I just binge watched everything.

Not my favourite TV shows, but definitely in the top 15.
